So my daughter will be 7 months next week and she has been having fear of strangers since 4 months old. I'm anxious because we are doing her baptism in a few weeks and I didn't want to throw a party for the same reason that she will get overwhelmed and anxious around a bunch of people. When she's around new people she starts crying and screaming for a good 5 minutes. I'm afraid this will happen all night long and I get so worried for her. I know it's normal and needs to get used to people besides the ones she's around everyday but it hurts to see her scared and crying like that. Any advice moms?

@yazdahboss, oh yeah definitely it just sucks when it's with her family but then again they don't come around like that. She's only around me her dad her uncle my mom & dad and my mil on the daily almost so she's happy with them but not with anyone else
I think Is normal she's doesn't know who they are!! My baby was like that for a bit. Is better to have a baby that cries when strangers get close than one that goes with them without knowing them . You get me
@yazdahboss, yeah and I take her out with me and her dad almost everyday but when people get really close to her she starts crying majority of the time. Unless they approach her with a goofy face or trying to make her laugh then she's fine
My baby is almost 2 and he is literally only around me his dad ,my sister mom and dad! And when I bring him around anyone else it takes him a while to get used to them
