You know what I realized tonight? I wish I had a wife! I wish I had someone I trusted mire than life to stay home and love our children. I wish I had someone who would integrate an age appropriate curriculum for our son. I wish I had someone to teach the children how to cope with all of the stress and frustrations life through behavioral development activities. I wish I had someone who cooked homemade from real ingredient meals and snacks for me and my family. I wish I had someone that feels broken every time one of her babies cries. Someone to handle the tantrums of a 2 year old who is going just trying to figure out his world and where he is in it. I wish I had someone who could at the same time nurse a hungry infant. I wish I had someone who would stop in the middle of eating her now cold food to wipe a butt or mop pee off the floor for the 4th time that day. I wish I had someone who ensured I didn't go hungry at dinner time. I wish I had someone who is always trying to figure out the next day before the sun goes down on the current day. I wish I hand someone to handle important phone calls and appointments. I wish I had someone to wake up with the children whenever they wake at night.A person who, even though she had a very tough day, plans a night out for the family without mention of a thank you. I wish I had someone who would stay up long past everyone else in the home just to clean the house because she was too busy the rest of the day. I wish I had someone who gave up dreams and passions just to do all of these things for her family. Someone who still does not get an opinion on big decisions but supports the decison I make no matter what she truly feels. I wish I had a wife! I am proud of my J.O.B. as a wife and mother but man do I wish I had an ounce of gratitude. Instead I'm treated as a second class citizen. My husband will gladly sit on his bottom as I try to wrangle both kids while making his dinner and cleaning the house. Being married can sometimes be the most lonesome condition. I'm still grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to learn dedication, endurance, and patience.
I just was feeling this way recently as well. Sometimes it feels like I'm a single mother when I'm really not. Even though my husband is out working constantly it would be nice to have help when he comes home sometimes
@mommy_faith, yess! I'm so far from perfect. Jesus did that for us now I just have to work on being more like him. Have you ever watched the movie WarRoom?
Yes definitely! I have to pray constantly for him to control and remove my attitude and frustration because only God can help me and he wants me to work with a happy heart. Of course I'm far from perfect so some days I seem to be praying all day for it.
@mommy_faith, @kambam I think it's honestly a feeling most wives feel! Generally speaking, women tend not to be prideful and need LOVE from others. Men need respect from others. It's naturally difficult to find the love and respect balance but damn can he try a little. It's times like this where I have to envision Jesus over my husband and be my best for Him. " Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters..." Colossians 3:23
yeah you said it. its unfortunate how comfortable marriages and relationships become. to the point where one is comfortable being unsupportive. your children may not thank you but they will appreciate you so much.

these women wishing death on babies, is seriously pissing me off!! I had a stillborn at 31 weeks, it's not something you wish on someone, or a baby who hasnt got to experience life! if you wish that I hope you rot in hell!!👌🏻 this is not how someone wants to take their baby home, I had to take my first home in an urn, wishing death on a baby or person period is sick, how would you feel if someone said that to you? you wouldn't like it! and in my opinion if you're gonna wish death you dont deserve...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I wish i had a friend to go with me to the tattoo studio later
