I agree with above posts but the 2 things I say are a must extra pillows and your own robe! I found one on sale and had a zipper which helped for easy access. I had c section as well

The things I was glad to have: chapstick, basic toiletries, my own pajamas and robe, soft socks. For some reason they had a pillow shortage, so I was glad we had one in the car.

From what i understand, the hospital will provide you the necessities. But bring particulars like ur toothbrush, house shoes, panties, that kind of stuff
