Ladies who are high risk did you have more than 2 scans? I thought I would be monitored more but…

I'm classed as high risk and I always need growth scans z

@haribo83, I'm just worried with the length of time... On my notes it does say that I will be having regular growth scans but not until 26 weeks plus x

Yeah my growths scans will be at 28 and 34 weeks. Will be making the Appointmenrs for this when I go for my 20 week scan next week x

I was classed as high risk in my last pregnancy and only had two scans

I understand, I've lost 5 and have 4living children. In my last pregnancy I was high risk mainly due to the amount of losses and births I'd had but I was still only given two scans

Frustrating for you and I can understand why you're worried. Maybe speak to your midwife? X

I'm high risk and didn't get any odd treatment until 26 weeks when I started having regular growth scans :) x

@squish86, i was high risk due to 2 previous losses, a bleed at 14 weeks potentially due to my placenta separating, my age and my bmi. i had 10 scans in total. 2 were the routine ones, 5 at the epau and the other 3 were growth scans arranged by my consultant where they also checked the blood flow thru the cord x

in all my pregnancies I've had scans every 3-4 weeks but even though classed high risk again I've only had 3 so far and don't have next one until 24th November. xx

I would if you see them more as I've barely seen midwife Ither or consultant which I keep complaining about it just feel as though I've been forgotten about @squish86 x

@squish86 I was classified as 'high risk' at my booking appointment yesterday. Due to 2 miscarriages and coz i got pregnant though ivf. Apparently that means the birth and care will be consultant led? She didn't mention scans other than to confirm my 13 weeks scan appointment. I was hoping it meant I'd be seen more often. Please keep me updated on how many and how often you have your growth scan down the line.

@ttcrainbowbaby, yes that's right you will see a consultant, they said my growth scans will be 26 weeks plus and my first growth scan isn't until December. X
