My daughter doesn't take a paci either don't worry @ourmiracle2016 😂😂😂😂 I have dozens of them n she doesn't take them. Not even the one from the hospital.
@ourmiracle2016, most won't be because it's two different ways of sucking. with the paci they have to push the tongue to the roof of their mouth and with your nipple they have to push their tongue to the bottom of their mouth!
@ourmiracle2016, I suggest not using a paci or bottle til breast feeding is well established. witg your pinky they use the same ducking mechanism as on your nipple. if he doesn't fall asleep then try feeding him again.
My girl does that too. It's because he wants comfort as suggested above. Try giving a binky or ur finger. Or put him on his belly over ur lap n rock him to sleep. Even when I try giving her the bottle with the breastmilk it's the same. So he isn't hungry he just needs comfort.
@mrsgower I might have to, I tried a binky and he gets totally pissed for me even offering lol. that's probably what it is cuz his average feeding times are 8-17 minutes during the day but always right before bed he seems to feed for like an hour plus 😣😣
@ourmiracle2016, I have noticed that with my little girl. when she does that she tends to want comfort and is mad she is getting milk. try offering your pinky nail side down to suck on and see if that works
@mrsgower @stashinavy thanks girls, I'm not giving up! I've been wanting to do this ever since I got pregnant, it's just been rough my boy is doing alright but he always seems to give me trouble right before bed, he'll start unlatching and giving me a a hard time and I get all frustrated which doesn't help
