Girls!!! Ladis Like I said before I had a flu for the past two days but last night it went worse now…

if it stays for too long id always book and app with gb to see there aint any bacterial infection as that can be a bit bad for baby i think xx

Is it flu or a bad cold? If you had flu you'd probably be bed ridden unabke to move. I'm sure your babies fine. They are very well protected inside. Our bodies immune system protects them which makes us open to catching things. If your worried though contact your midwife for advise.

if you had flu you wouldn't be able to move so sounds like you've got a bad cold so baby will be fine x

@sara-lou, I think it's a flu as I have block nose, sore throat and pain in my chest. But I less worry about my self as I can go through it but I worry about my baby. x

Sounds like a bad cold. Flu your bed ridden and can't do anything. My mum was hospitalised when he she had the Flu. She couldn't stand up or move. Your body will protect your baby. I had a chest infection when I was pregnant and worried about baby but he was fine and quite happy in there. Rest when you can. Drink honey and lemon to help your throat 😊

flu is a life threatening illness, totally different to a cold, flu drains you completly to the point lying in bed is all you can do you literally wouldn't be able to move the way it's been described is if you have cold and there was £50 on your lawn you wouldn't be able to get it whereas a cold you'd be straight there x

If you've had the flu jab last month, it will just be a cold xx

@myfirstbaby2016 I have most of the same symptoms as you but my gp confirmed it's a cold. He said not to worry unless I have a temp that won't go down. if you feel your temp is high take paracetamol and if hat doesn't work go to your gp

@myfirstbaby2016, yeah baby will be fine :) I had a couple of really bad colds during my pregnancy & he was fine xx just have plenty of honey & lemon and paracetamol when you need it xx

@myfirstbaby2016 There's no need to worry unless you have a fever that won't come down. If you feel feverish defo take paracetamol. Hope you feel better soon hun. I know how you're feeling. I've had a cold for only a few days and feels like weeks!
