Had my 38 week appointment today! The doctor says I am not dilated at all. Has anyone had an experience where they were not dilated at all but went into labor quickly? Or been not dilated at all at 38 weeks and went way past their due date? Just wondering what your experiences have been!!

I was induced at 39 weeks and I wasn't dilated...through 2 days of cervical medicines & pitocin, I dilated to 1 cm. Due to that, my ob couldnt proceed with other measures to jump start labor and I ended up with a c-section. regardless of all of that, it's worth it in the end!!
