What do they do to you when you get ''induced'' ? Does it hurt? Thanks in advance :)
@domsmama96, ahhh we shall see i'm so nervous and anxious 😩 thank you though :) hopefully it ain't as bad as people make it seem lol
I think they'll induce u if things aren't moving along mama. Yes I had a vaginal birth, and nope I didn't even feel the epidural. I waited for the pain, and nothing, it was over so fast.
I was induced with cervidil as well and the contractions started hard and fast. If you are already dialating I doubt you'd need it. Probably just pitocin
@domsmama96, see at my last appt (on friday) he said my cervix is already thinned and soft 3cm dilated, but i'm not feeling no pain so do you think they'll still induce me ? Since i'm dilated did I loose my mucus plug already? And girl I feel you i've heard horrible things too i'm just sooooo scared of what type of pain to expect lol did you do a vaginal birth? Did the epidural hurt ?
@jacey3, oh damn, well i'm already dilated would they still induce me if I don't open up more?
I first got cervidil to soften my cervix and it only opened me up a smidge , then I got pitocin. And I asked for the epidural right away before my contractions even got bad because I was deathly afraid (I'd heard how horrible they were when u were induced) . So it really wasn't bad at all for me .
The process is longer and a bit harder being induced.. so I've been told.. I haven't had to be but friends around me have and it was long process
Everyone goes through it with a good or bad experience .. My first born baby came on his own and my second didn't so I had to get induced ...my labor from induction was way easier and less painful than with my first ...good luck to you! 🙂
in my case I was given cervidil to open up my cervix to 3 cm and then pitocin to start contractions and move them closer together. it's much more painful than naturally going into labor on your own. I say this because I had one birth with no medicine and recently with my second I was induced.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
