@sherrynygirl, wow that's really impressive! I'm an animal lover so that's really awesome not only that you stayed in a career for so many years but that you have such a special talent. I work with developmentally disabled adults. It's a trying job but very rewarding at the same time. I went to school as well but my degree is in psychology (BA). It's useless lol. I always wanted to be a nurse but I couldn't afford to stay in school and finish a graduate degree in psychology or pay for a second bachelors. NY/NJ exposes you to many different personalities. The "street" experience you gain here is invaluable. I feel the same way. I'm very good at reading people as well 😉 I would love to move back down south though. I really dislike NY. I would be willing to go to GA, SC, NC, TN... that's a goal of mine for the next 5 years.

@dabcw3814, Seeing our loved ones who suffer thru sickness is hard to see knowing once they were so healthy.alert worked hard for their family..trust me you will be rewarded in time for being that good daughter to your parents..i am a pet groomer since i was 19 yrs old..I specialize in hand scissoring dogs..i am 37 now.. funny my 2 sisters can't hold 1 job..i love my career..i did go to school yrs ago for private investigations i didn't finish but...I'm pretty good at looking at a pic and feeling a vibe if the person is good or bad and in person i can feel someone's pain or tell if they are full of shit*maybe its a gift since i was born in israel but..raised in ny. nj.fl. always put your health of your baby before anyone yes including our parents who we love but...drain our energy

That's exactly what my therapist tells me lol. Take time and get out of my own head. My dad is sadly not doing well at all. Thank you for asking. It's been such a rapid decline. @sherrynygirl

@dabcw3814, Take time for yourself you deserve it light candles.shop pamper yourself! There has come a point i don't answer all phone calls from my sisters or my mom..we are humans not robots..i know when i read your posts we have a lot in common too.Things will get better for you learn to say no and tell your siblings to do something to help their parents can't be all on you! How is your dad doing with his chemo?

@dabcw3814, i know exactly how stressful that is..before my dad passed away my 2 sisters lived near him and i live 1 hr away and work full-time then and now since i was 16yrs old... i would take my mom to the pharmacy to get his medications take her grocery shopping...call the insurance for them..while my other 2 sisters did nothing! My mom allows my middle sister to live there and she doesn't contribute to anything..At times i take my mom to do her hair or out to lunch but.. i have learned i can't take of what my mom allows my sister to do nothing...just pathetic she has no boundaries..i am 37 yrs old was the 1st to move out on my own at 16yrs old..i have 2 older sons..i told them this pregnancy is hi risk only due to my age and i don't want any of their constant issues...you seem the same like me you take on all your families issues even while we are pregnant and work full-time while our siblings don't blink an eye

focus on what you can..i know you are always there for your family..in every family there is 1 person who tries to fix other's problems(i have 2 older sister's i know..they do nothing for my mom knowing she's been a widow now going on 7yrs..
