Im terrified to get tested for group b strep tomorrow... i know i should get used to the doctor being down there but this will be kinda the first time and im scared and uncomfortable.

It'll be okay ❤️ I was super nervous myself and didn't even wanna go in for it. Lol
it's not so bad. I was a little freaked out by it too but like everyone said you'll have to get used to it because they do cervical checks every week toward the end anyway and during labor you'll have lots of people looking.
It's so quick, it's just a swab. It was a bit awkward, but you have to think this is what these doctors do on a daily basis. There's nothing to be nervous about
My doctor had me do it myself, he said no need to strip down for something you can do yourself and had me do it in the bathroom . So maybe it's an option?
It takes literally 1 second for them to swab. No big deal really. You may as well get comfortable with the idea of having a doctor down there, because during labor you'll have a team of people watching a baby being pushed out of your nether regions for hours.
Just relax! It's not painful at all just awkward. Goodluck!
