I go back to work today and I'm freaking out about leaving my little baby. I know he's technically almost 4 months old but I only had 1 month with him because he only got out of the nicu September 16th & we could only afford 4 weeks for me off :(. He's an older preemie now and almost 10 pounds but I'm still nervous. My mom is going to watch him till my husband gets out of class 5 hours after I leave for work. I just wanna stay home with him :(. On another note.. Going back to work in the lab is really pushing me to study harder for the Hesi exam. I don't want to be a phlebotomist/lab assistant forever. Plus after all the preterm labor mess and long nicu stay, I want to be an L&D nurse. I got really close to those ladies for the week of preterm. Just anxious cause my precious college experience was horrible :/. I need to do amazing on the hesi so that they don't totally judge me by my gpa :(.

Having your little one stay with family while you work is wonderful! My itty bitty and my big kid go to my grandma's on one of my work days each week so we don't have to do daycare.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I'm just being paranoid and I know it>.< lol. @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom I just miss him already lol. My mom has been dying to babysit since before Noah was born so I know it will be ok. She's been babysitting my bigger baby(4year old stepson) since I've been in his life & he loves her. I work a weird schedule for the next 2 weeks because little guy has a few dr apts and I got the days off so it's not long stretches of work. Just work on weekends is harder because my husband will be gone all day Saturday due to school then work, then back to work early in the morning on Sunday. I just need to relax and take it a day at a time lol.
