Has anyone been induced without receiving an epidural?
@beebaby, can you tell me about your whole experience? If you don't mind. 😩
I looked it up too! 🙄 I've seen so many different answers. But I trust my doctor. Hopefully I won't have to be induced at all and I can do it naturally because I have another medical condition that is interfering with me even have the to get an epidural so iv pain meds is all I have to rely on. On top of the fluid levels, she is not moving hardly any. Last week she failed nst but passed ultrasound. So either she is just stubborn or it maybe an underlying problem. It's frustrating. @babyrossmommy
Yes I did. They had to cut off the pitocin tho because it was making my contractions too close togethet
I just looked it up the internet even says a different number lol. What the heck! 6-8 is oligohydramnios that what they are saying?
Have you made a birth plan @mcrowell0970
I think they usually automatically check fluid levels whenever you get an ultrasound... I don't know 🤔 but I've I've been getting mines checked since around 26 weeks because my sac was leaking but the leak sealed itself when they put me in the hospital @mamasylvas2016
Maybe I'm thinking of different level?? Is it the test where they measure the 4 sections in your belly?
Yes I get tested every week and I was told 10 to 12 is normal level third trimester and yep 👍🏽 I know being hydrated has a lot to do with it. I drink at least 120 fl oz a day. I'm not on bedrest but I on fmla leave from work already. So I'm not doing much. @babyrossmommy
when did they check your fuild level n what madr them wanna checknit to begin with? Did something happen? im only asking cuz ive been having a feeling about her fuild level lately.
I was told 6-24 is ok.. so you are still ok. Try upping your fluids? They said fluid is also based on how hydrated you are... you on bed rest? I hope everything goes well. Do you get tested every week
Last appt was a 8 but it's been as low as two before... @babyrossmommy
No it's not official yet but she's mentioned I'll most likely be induced at 37 weeks due to low amniotic fluid levels if I can make that far... it's all based on my fluid and so far it's not improving @babyrossmommy
I do know induction hurts more... but I rather no medication at all. You scheduled for induction?
I want to follow this.. I'm getting induced on the 24th but I kind of want to go no epidural
Yeah private message me though. I don't want to share with everyone..
