Mommies when did you or when do you plan to switch your baby to a "Big Kid" car seat? My little guy…

@Lp1988727 I was looking at Car seats and I don't really have to switch him out now because he still fits and has a lot of room in his infant carrier...I was just curious

I switched him after he turned one. he would scream his head off in infant car seats do we tried a big boy and he loves it. he just chills in it in the car now.

I switched my at 8 months, he also had the Chicco keyfit 30 but his length had outgrown it or I wouldn't have yet

there should be 2 inches above there head in seat. they're head should not be level with the car seat. that's how I could tell my son was ready for a new one bc the weight is a safety measure. my son fit his in weight but not height.

also he's still rear facing. will be for a while yet.

Haha, I asked the same question a day or so ago. My little man is 6 months and he still fits in his Chicco KeyFit car seat as well but he's looks uncomfortable at times. He hates the car seat so I may switch sooner than later. @beezy_mcflyy
