how did you go about comstipation in third trimester? im 34 weeks and lately going.. has been a struggle. also, how far alomg were you when you dropped?

I'm only 14 weeks but I had such severe constipation already, that I had to go to the ER. I hope this doesn't happen to you. First, try Metamucil, increasing your fiber, and drinking only water for a couple of days. If it's bad, you can try Colase (a stool softener) up to 3 times a day. If you still can't go, a glycerin suppository may work. Enemas with warm water may also help, but you'll need the bag kind for that. DON'T do fleet enemas as those aren't good for the baby. Worst case scenario (my case) you'd have to go to the ER. Message me for details if you need them. Good luck, I hope you jump-start your system soon!
