Ask your child's pedi because I've heard that paci nipples are all different because of how mom's have all sorts of different kind of nipples and they make pacis like that so the baby doesn't get use to latching on a different shaped nipple. Idk how true that is but that's what I've heard in the past. Hope that made sense, lol.
