Toy clutter stresses me out so bad... my son has sooo many toys and the playroom is always destroyed. I want to get rid of like half of his toys because of how crazy it becomes. Any other moms have this feeling? Any advice?

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

same here my son has so many toys an my hubby keeps buying more an more an i have 2 clean it up every single day there has not.been.a day where i dont pick up his toys

I make my son go through his toys with me and tell me the toys he no longer wants anymore but I do it closer to Christmas and his birthday and tell him we have to give away his old toys he doesn't play with anymore so he can get new toys. That's worked for me so far.
