I just got back from my doctors appointment and he is breech 😟😢 we are turning him tomorrow and I'm really nervous about…

My sister had it done with her first and she said it was very painful because they weren't gentle about it lol. Hopefully they'll be better with you!

@teambarnes, I have watched some videos and they don't seem that bad they give you a shot to relax your uterus so it's easier to turn them. my Dr also said that's it's more just uncomfortable then actually painful! I will most likely be spending the morning watching more videos to be more prepared! 😥

Really, you shouldn't worry because even if the flipping doesn't work, some babies flip by themselves during labor and even if not, delivering a baby breech has been done plenty of times without issues.

@miicat, they won't let me have him vaginally if he is not head down. my Dr told me that today she said it's either we turn him, or we schedule a c-section and hope he turns on his own and cancel the c-section best case scenario.. I will literally break down if I have to have a c-section. I do not want it at all! My basically perfect pregnancy can not be ruined by me having to have a c-section and not being able to have him as naturally as possible.

@rachayrn Unless you have a serious medical reason not to possibly have a breech vaginal birth, I suggest finding a different doctor.

@miicat, I'm not finding a different Dr at 36 weeks. I have done some research and it really isn't very safe to deliver a breech baby vaginally

@rachayrn You can find any kind of research and 'facts' online, in reality a lot of doctors give misinformation on the safety of breech birth and chilbirth in general because they make more money from doing all sorts of interventions.

@miicat, I trust my doctor and her advice so I guess I'll have to deal with "misinformantion" I don't feel like she would lie to me about the safety of a certain birth..

@rachayrn People can spread misinformation without lying. They simply know what they've learned in their studies. So she just believes what's she's been taught and her job is to basically make you believe that same information. simple.
