did anyone not take the test for down syndrome and regret it. i'm tryna figure out if i can still take the test for for the baby at 24 weeks
thank you ladies @haydensmom1994 and @waitingformyuniverse . I can totally understand the worry because sickle cell is a very painful and dangerous disease (I'm a lab tech and test for it all the time). Do what you think is best and just know that you're baby is the most amazing blessing no matter the results
@ginnalynn, def was a good response. and i would love my child no matter too. .i love him unconditionally now, and i havnt even met him lol. It was just a worry, my child could possible have sickle cell. So every little thing worries me because thats my baby of course. 😉
@waitingformyuniverse, I didn't take it I'll wait till after he born
I don't think they'd do the blood test this late they'd wanna do an amniocentesis which is extremely painful and they'll lie and say it's not but it is and not even worth it. down syndrome is pretty rare so the chances are so low that I don't find it necessary.
@waitingformyuniverse, your age and genetic markers. Don't be! I was a mess my whole pregnancy because of that false positive. As long as the fluid behind babies neck was normal and she's has a nasal bridge don't worry about the test.
but how would you even know your high risk if you never tested for it. @jessica0830 i worry alot so imma kinda upset now for not taking it lol
I had the blood test and the amniocentesis to test for Down's syndrome when I was pregnant. They came back saying my son has Down's syndrome. And I was a high risk pregnancy
I didn't the second time. I got a false positive with my daughter had to do an amino an all just for her to be perfect.... if you aren't on the high risk cat for it it's not worth the worry.
When can I take a pregnancy test
I will not be tested for COVID unless I am showing all signs of having it! They taking newborn babies away from their mothers if they test positive. Over my cold dead body! No ONE will take my baby away from me bet!
AF due 29th, anyone else?
Hi all AF is due 29th Sept for me feels like forever away. Has anyone tested yet or when do you plan on testing x

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what ...

anyone else take pics of your first positive tests? Post in the comments! I was so excited and SHOCKED
??
