blood test yesterday showed my iron levels have dropped to 10.3 ... is this bad?? doctors tomorrow as my midwife wants me on iron tablets 🤔

aarr good... @charney91x not long left now for us then... and i do hope they improve my energy... fed up of feeling like a zombie aha xx

@babyno2-suzie, I'm due at exactly the same time! I've been told it shouldn't cause any problems or affect the birth at all! Should just rise you're iron levels and hopefully give you some energy soon enough! 😊

im due in 3 and a half weeks thou will this affect anything at birth... it was 13 at my last check 10 weeks ago... no wonder i been feeling so tired lol... hope they dont make me constipated aswell loooool @pandapooooo @charney91x @karenb1601 xx

Anything under 14 they treat with iron tablets. And yes the black poo sure is alarming at 1st haha it is like tar

I have the same problem, but defiantly be prepared for black poop and a little constipation! But the tablets really do help to make you feel more alive! Xx

@babyno2-suzie, it is a little low but the iron tablets will help with that. on a side note dont be alarmed if yr poop is black after taking the iron for a few days x
