@kbrown91, Im allergic to ibuprofen, so Im too scared to touch it...We are going to see pediatrician in the am, just want to make it through the night.
You cannot give motrin under 6 months, it's not recommended. Motrin is ibuprofen and its mostly used to reduce inflammation. Tylenol is the only thing you're suppose to use for under 6 months. I've never heard of congestion being a sign of teething and I've got four kids. Congestion is usually the sign of a oncoming cold, not teething hun. Stick to Tylenol unless directed by your pediatrician. You can use teethers that you freeze, freeze a cold wash clothe, orajel, or just wash your hands super good and massage his gums. They have all kinds of toys for teething too! @green7dusty
