Am I Heartless? I left my Bf because he didn't have a job, and we were living in a corner of his parents basement paying $840 a month...his parents were riding me for the rent money every week ($210 for the both of us but since he didn't have a job it came outta my pocket) they'd say their kids couldn't eat and stuff like that. I'd have to hurry home on my payday because they didn't wanna wait for their money. His dad would pressure him about the money and in return he'd pressure me. I'd have to pay rent, cell phone bill, insurance, get us through the week, pay his parents and it was just too much for me to handle. Plus my son is starting to crawl and I didn't want him to have to crawl on a dirty basement floor. I left with my son and since then a bunch of drama has been going on. I still love my child's father very much but I can't take all that pressure and he wasn't getting up and helping it get better....now I'm getting messages like this and they hurt like hell but I just wanted my son to have a better life and I couldn't achieve that by staying at his parents basement and taking care of their whole family.....am I truly heartless? 😰
