my 14 month old daughter's private is very red and she cries and tries to grab it. so I called her doctor and they told me to try this cream. has anyone ever used this before? it says its for feet?

@rileysmom, yes & it works I also used a&d so to keep the area from getting more irritated.

He probably thinks she has a fungal infection. Give it a try and if it doesn't work take her in.

I wouldn't put that on my daughter. Take the baby to doctor in person

If it's a yeast infection yes. Nystatin is medicated also that might help better then the lotramin. But you could always take her in anyway

Personally I would take her in to be looked at, only cause it could be something else. My daughter gets uti's has had quite a few (refluxing urethra) and this last time she had one she kept patting down there over clothes and trying to pull her diaper off.
I will also say though my daughter once had a horrible rash super red that didnt go away and doc prescribed Nystatin (yeast medicine) and it finally started going away. trust your mommy instincts :)

And he didnt want to see her? my daughter got yeast in her neck (she spit up a ton even with bibs catching it) so her doc prescribed Nystatin which is the ingredient in monistat for vagnial yeast infections. but any antifungal will work

It says for feet because that's the common area where funguses tend to grow.... it's just the ingredients in that cream that you need.
