Has anyone been in the same situation or knows someone who is? Basically I'm due back at work April 2017. But I'm really wanting to apply for university September 2017 to go in 2018. So I'm in two minds wether to quit work as I don't have to pay maternity back. My partner works full time so I'm just wondering will I be able to receive any help for the duration I'm not at work or uni. Thanks girls

I'm a student but on maternity leave until next year, when I will complete my final year. my partner works full time and we get working and child tax credits. I'm quite lucky because I'm a nursing student so my bursary continues to be paid while on maternity leave. once you're a student you get more financial help from student finance etc, some you have to pay back but others you don't xx
@syrennajade, my partner works full time too,we get child tax credit and working tax creadit I think it all depends on how much your partner is earning but for you if your partner is living with you,you won't get anything xx

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

Ladies, I'm so freaking excited and happy right now that I am UGLY crying at work !! My doctor just called me because he got my blood results back, baby is good and I'm having A BOYYYY!!! I cant believe after all I've been through I finally get my boy !!! Thank you Jesus !!! I want to surprise Tim, any ideas of how I can surprise him for when he gets home from work tonight ??? Let's hear it.

@syrennajade, its a hard course to do but worthwhile :) I'm dreading going back but I know I need to finish! placements are gonna be rough with a young one :( x
