Yes my son did, & I would tell him no! Or i would tap his hand and redirect it and let him know it's not for his mouth!

yes it is for attention I notice my daughter does it if I'm taking too long doing something

My kids have all done it, its a phase. just ignore him.

I can promise you, it's for attention. You trying to get him to stop is giving him attention. I took my son to the doctor for the exact same thing. if you react, he knows it gets attention
