I got my daughter addicted to the boobs now she won't take her bottle.

Yep, been there. I was so stressed when I had to go back to work and my son still refused to try a bottle. I tried everything -- wrapping a bottle in my shirt, boob shaped bottles, offering milk from a spoon, you name it. The only thing that worked for me was repetition and time. As my doctor said, a baby won't starve to death with a bottle in front of him.

@deeanna, oh wow I'll give my daughter a bottle if she refuses 5 mins of her screaming her lungs out I just give in and give her the boobs I hate to hear her scream because my child don't simply cry 😫

try breast nipple shaped bottles. it doesn't always work because they want the real deal. babies are smart.

@gabbymommy, I don't blame you! It is so hard. It took a very patient grandma to get my son to take it. We had no choice but to wait it out bc I had to work

3 weeks old is tough because waiting a shift to feed them because they don't want a bottle isn't doable... my daughter was the type to just not eat at all if the bottle was offered... if she is refusing and you aren't around whoever is feeding her can feed with a syringe. It's not ideal but any way you can get food in is better than no way. Have some one else give her a bottle and if possible leave the house. If she can smell you she probably won't settle for a bottle.
