So any one have some advice when it comes to swelling after delivery? Had a bit of damage and let's just say I'm so swollen that the nurses won't be specific out it they just give me really big eyes and say "really really swollen"

Lol sounds exactly like how I was after I had my baby. I had a episiotomy also. My whole vag was scary swollen and puffy. I just iced it, cool water to clean, Motrin for pain, and used the stuff the hospital gave me. After about 5 days, it looked normal again

I had a 7lb1oz baby, I'm very small framed so I knew it would tear. I had 2nd degree tearing, a tore urethra & I have a dividing wall inside of my vagina that my baby ripped through. my vagina lips were so swollen it was scary. lol I thought it was permanent but after 3 days or so the swelling had went down. it took me about a month to feel almost completely back to normal. the outside healed in like 3 weeks, but my dividing wall is still healing because it's a bit sore still. use the witch hazel pads, they helped me so much!!

Ouch 😣 is defiantly take the meds, and sit on lots of ice. See if your hospital had the crack ice pads. They're not as uncomfortable cold as real ice. They only last like 15 mins, but they're more pleasant. Hope you get feeling better. It's no fun with stitches and pain down there. Also, eat lots of oatmeal and take your stool softeners. That first poop is going to be painful and scary lol. Oatmeal really made me regular after the baby

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
