I did a pregnant test from dollar tree today it was neg. my ovulation was positive from 10/6 to today

So, shot in the dark but I found out I was pregnant because of an ovulation test. I got a positive really soon after my period and I knew that was weird so a friend suggested a pregnancy test and sure enough that was positive too. ovulation test can detect hcg levels too according to my doctor when I told her that. It is possible to have a light, dark then, darker positive or light dark light.
