So angry/upset! I asked my MIL if she wanted to come to my last growth scan and was told that my little girl was a little underweight but she has now gone round to my OH family saying the baby is massively underweight. so my OH brother just rang up saying to him that we're going to end up saying goodbye to our baby when she's born. How dare he?! Seriously I wish she never came! all the babies in my family are said to be smaller and come out round 6 or 7pounds odd anyway! My other half ended up putting the phone down on his brother, but I'd already heard everything by that point, seriously so done with it now!

I'm sorry what? Your oh's brother called to say you'll end up saying goodbye to your baby? wtf. Think they need a slap in the face. Your mil has made something out of nothing. A lot of babies measure smaller or bigger than average. But that's all it usually is. Very insensitive behaviour. Idiots.

Wth! Even if the baby was measuring grossly underweight he had no right to say that! As he babies uncle how could he? Such an insensitive uncaring selfish jerk! And your mil is no better. She had no business sharing that with anyone and definitely not exaggerate it like that!

tell me about it @sara-lou @ttcrainbowbaby ! you can understand why I'm so angry! neither of them had any right to say anything at all! My MIL doesn't seem to understand all babies are different as all of hers were premature but the right weight for their age, mine should obviously be the perfect size! 😑 I swear to god if anyone says anything else like that, I am done with them all and they will have nothing to do with my daughter! My OH is so pissed off with them but trying to stay strong for me. xx

@nessie95 Honestly hun, I'd already stop involving them in the pregnancy. I'm so pissed on your behalf! It's bad enough commenting on the low weight negatively but to say what he said!🙈 Unbelievable! I can't even repeat it it's so disgusting.
I'm glad your OH is reacting as he is. My husband has a habit of standing up for his family regardless of what crap they say and trying to brush it off. Yours and your OH's feelings are justified. They were both completely out of order.

I'm disgusted at him saying it, I never thought he would even think about anything like that, I normally get on with him so well! well it's safe to say the only two people going to my growth scans are me and my OH. Rob (my OH) knows what his family are like, and gets pissed off with them regularly, so this was the icing on top of the cake for him, me personally, I just try to stay on the good side of them, but right now, I'm done with that! @ttcrainbowbaby x
