Mommies its 5Am and I got a question lol My LO is 11 months. He goes to bed by 9-9:30. He'll get up by 4am or 5am (like now) for a bottle but he wont finish a full bottle. Out of 8oz he drinks 2oz so I cut it down to 2oz. He'll go back to sleep until 8am. I've been trying to not give that 2oz bottle but he's so use to it he wont go back to bed until he has it. So is that 9pm-4am his whole bedtime? Someone who works at my boyfriends job (elementary school) said thats his full night of sleep. I dont think thats true. What do you think? I'm helpless I want to sleep without getting up and getting a bottle

that's a full 7-8 hours of sleep every night, but I'm not sure if 11 month olds should be sleeping longer or not

Kids should sleep at least 12 hrs a night

@andrewsmommy, no kids need 12 hours. He's still little and I don't remember that far back but for some reason I know all kids wake at the crack of dawn. As they get older they sleep a little later but yeah I would fall asleep earlier :/

@leahsmommi When he falls asleep earlier he gets up earlier. Like if I put him to bed at 8 he'll be up at 1am to eat.

@andrewsmommy, maybe it's just a force of habit? He is on a eating schedule cuz baby should be sleeping through the night already. I'd ask dr to see how to ween him off the feeding so he can sleep through the night

@leahsmommi Our dr and a couple other drs said babies will sleep through the night when their ready. some babies are 2 and still dont so its not a commen thing for babies to sleep fully by 6 months. I've been putting less formula and more water because thats suppose to ween them off
