Being in the NICU is rough! originally we were sent here for low blood sugars, which thankfully have been resolved. But now we are battling jaundice. My bor baby girl has to be under light constantly. the only time my husband and i can hold her is when we feed her. This has been such a set back in the breast feeding department, but most of all im so sad that i cant snuggle my baby. please send prayers that my little family can be together at home soon 💖

great!! they will continue to go down with her pooping. with the colostrum she wasn't pooping much so her levels couldn't go down, but since your milk has came in, you will more than likely be bring your baby girl home Sunday!! I'll still keep y'all in my prayers, I know that has got to be hard not having her with y'all!!
thank you @heatherlg88! her bili started at 18.9 and over the past 24 hours have gone down to 13.4. my milk just started coming in today and that is helping her poo so much! we're keeping our fingers crossed that we can go home on sunday.
do u know what her bilirubin levels are? we almost had to do phototherapy too, but after my milk came in the doctor have her two days to poop the extra bilirubin levels out & it worked!! breast milk is like a laxative so she pooped after every feed & her levels dropped🙏 prayers for your precious baby!

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
