⚠️⚠️⚠️ Emergency ⚠️⚠️⚠️
I need help . My baby is 9 months old she has had a constipation problem since she was a baby she can not poop she tries and tries pushes and pushes , I can see how much it hurts her I have taken her to the ER today but what they did to her didn't help she hasn't pooped since we came back and when she pooped there it was hard !
I want to take her again but she's not in pain unless she's trying to poop .
Is there a way I can register her to the hospital for them to see her ?
I feel like taking her to the ER is if she's in pain and they won't do anything for her I want her to get seen and for her to be taken seriously .
It hurts me she's my baby and it hurts me to see her hurting because of the poop. ;(

Maybe try some of the foods in the link I gave? Or look up others that are good for constipation. Do you breastfeed or formula feed? If breastfeeding what you're eating could be plugging her up, too.

My son had this before he started solids because he was drinking so much formula. We got some gel suppositories that cleared him out quickly. Don't do it too often though or they will become dependent on it

So make them give you a referral. A specialist will definitely be able to help you figure out any issues. How long does she go between pooping? Mommy's bliss makes a constipation ease that worked well for my daughter but she was only ever mildly constipated a handful of times. What kinds of solids does she eat?

Yesterday we had her check up with her pediatrician and we told her that she has not been able to poop and explained to her she told me about the specialist but she told me to call her in a week or two so she could see if she did better but she's not better :/ and they told me I can't go to anyone without a doctor referral :( @al_

Your doctor thinks something is wrong but hasn't given you a referral to see a specialist? Thats odd. Ask them for one or contact a specialist yourself.
