My 9 week old weighs 11 pounds 8 ounces, is that above or below average? He was born 7 pounds 15 ounces but dropped to 7 pounds 4 ounces shortly after birth. So, he's gained 4 pounds 4 ounces in 8 weeks. Doctor says he IS advanced with certain things because he now holds his head at 2 months and is starting to turn over, he is at milestones 3 months old are at. But as far as weight is he ok?
