Yup! my first I was 10 days late. Since I was having a repeat csection, I had it scheduled for 39 weeks. Didn't even think I'd go early, really didn't even want to to be honest. At 38bweeks on the dot, the day before my final check up, my son and I were having a mommy son date day of whatever he wanted. He asked to get donuts for lunch. It was a gorgeous day so I went to use the bathroom and bam, bloody show, contractions and was off to the hospital. She was delivered thay evening

Awesome @emily18234 I'm ready to get this show on the road. I go in on the 31st. But I'm like what if nothing happens before then. What if nothing changes?

to be honest even though there are some signs there's nothing definitive it's going to say yes you are going to go into labor at this time on this day on this week or even on a certain month so I mean just know that you're not going to be pregnant forever and stress is probably the number one thing that's going to inhibit any sort of natural body thing

@lovelybabybump27, I was like literally laying down watching TV when my water broke and it was a big gush I'm glad because I felt like that was the only way I would know I was going into labor

@emily18234, right! But if something drastic doesn't happen like @babyjacksonmommy had happen to her I probably wouldn't know. When I had a few short contractions confirmed by my obgyn, i didn't know. I was like that's what that pinching was? She was like you're going to be in trouble LOL.. so now I get that same feelings here or there, but not consistent or close together.

@lovelybabybump27, well good luck to you sounds like my issues I had preterm labor issues and didn't even know I was having contractions at 35 weeks went into the er just cause I didn't feel right for two days but I wasn't hurting just felt uncomfortable. found out my cervix was starting to open and I was in shock cause I didn't feel anything s after they got my contractions to stop I was always nervous about the not knowing when since I didn't know than so I'm so glad my water end up breaking cause my pain tolerance is high

@babyjacksonmommy, && that's my issue. My tolerance for pain is extremely high until it's scary. So unless it's enough consistent pain to register with me, I wouldn't know. I ask my bf a lot, "babe do you think I'm going to dilate" or "do you think my water will break" LOL. Like things feel a little different inside of me right now, but I'm just going to say that's normal. My doc says she's head down. But as of a week or more ago, I hadn't dilated && my cervix was still hard. Know these things can change overnight, so fingers crossed that I've dilated or anything different on Friday!!

@babyjacksonmommy, like TMI but on EVERY trip to the bathroom I go #2 && it has a weird smell now. I've been sooo exhausted && feverish. My mind keeps telling me the 27th will be the day. My doc said he will have to induce me on the 31st if nothing starts naturally!

yes. I was in the hospital the night before barely a 1 then the next day o had an apt opted out for him checking me... came home got out of the car nd started walking to my house nd my water broke...I was 36 weeks and 4 days

@lovelybabybump27, my other 2 I was just having lots of painful contractions... my last one was the only one where I had my water break

@mama.of.3., but it's my first time. So I'm sure it's not going go be that easy
