It's hard but we have known about her health problems from early on which helped us deal with this outcome. But going through the whole experience and the birth is something that is wonderful and precious and we will have it in our memories forever. She tried so hard for her life. She came out and her eyes were open and she made a tiny cry/gasp when they first got her out. But she wasn't taking in the oxygen they were given her nor was she crying. But she made 5-6 gasps while we held her so she tried so hard to breath and that's something Aaron and I are proud of. I wanted to give her at least a chance at life!!! It seemed so unfair to end her life before even giving her a chance. Everyone deserves a chance of life and the only person to take it is the big guy upstairs. She fought hard and long but it wasn't in the plan for her to be in this world and I'm perfectly okay with that. With the world the way it is now I'm glade she's been spared the pain and suffering that we go through on daily basis. I got goosebumps this morning cause I felt her with me. Even though I may not be going home with her physically she's with me mentally and emotionally and in spirit and I'm happy for that. God she was sooo pretty!! She literally is a little queen. I'm so happy cause the doctors said she could have physical birth defects but no!!! She was perfect. we're not having a burial cause we want her with us instead we are having a service then having her cremated. We are going to try and have the service Saturday. The hospital will release her body to the funeral home once I'm discharged so I'm guessing that'll be sometime tomorrow.
