mommies who take fenugreek...how long till you saw an increase in your supply?

Ok your must be a different brand my told me 4-5x a day

the instructions say 1 pill 3 times a day. so i take one with breakfast lunch and dinner. @mommyofacountryboy

thanks ladies! :) ill be trying the teas! @dang_dridri the constant pumping is so frustrating! But i havent stopped so im hoping we will get some better results soon.

You also try other teas & things like lactation cookies & snacks. But that & pumping/nursing will help. 😊

I had to supplemental as well but now I take Fenugreek & this tea from Amazon & its helped A LOT!

I took it. Honestly I didn't see an increase because of it and it was super frustrating. But feeding every two hours or pumping that often helped. Also you should get this stuff, my friend used it and her supply became insane

@emiswymn, im currently nursing every 3 hours including at night and pumping in between every session and still barely making enough. were currently supplimenting also because the boys arent getting enough calories from me alone :/

Fenugreek can greatly help some, and not so much others. Your best bet to increase supply would be to nurse/pump more, preferably nursing over pumping. Baby's are more efficient at getting the milk out than pumps.

be careful with fenugreek. it can have bad side effects for you and baby. not trying to tell you what to do. just a friendly bit of info.

I would say 2-3 days for it to kick in for me. I was very dedicated to pumping every 2 1/2 hours while my itty bitty was in the nicu so by the second week I www getting several ounces out at a time.
