I was and still am in so much pain.... I am honest with my doctors so I mentioned everything on my checklist. Yesterday I was checked and told that my cervix is soft. No dilation... and that Miss K.... is knees down 😔. breech. TOMORROW (39W)They are going to try externally to turn her than induce me. Otherwise, They are going to take her out via C-Section.... I've talked to a few mommies who've said I should request they wait a few more days to let her settle. (she moves so much I showed them a video of her moving) she may reposition herself. 😢😔 I'm afraid of being cut... my anxiety is already killing me. 😖😖 my boys were clean, No stitch or cut vaginal (post due date) deliveries. I'm so upset.
@goodjourney, thank you 😊😊 @1sttimemummy absolutely, she didn't mention it but I'm going to research it now. she responds to my pushing on her, she'll kick back etc but she's comfortable in that spot😣 @agastinamarie Thanks so much. I'm going too it now
@yanelmarie, good luck hope they are able to turn her or she turns on her own!
Check out spinningbabies.com!! They have tons of positions and techniques to get your baby to turn on their own! They really do work too! I suggested the site to a friend and her baby turned from breach to optimal position the next day!
I've seen videos of mommies kinda hanging over a couch upside down to flip their babies and it works! I've seen a famous YouTube mommy do it too. You should try maybe it'll work! But yes I agree they can't make you if you don't want to :( @yanelmarie
@yanelmarie, I hope it works!!! Just look up everything you can do to turn the baby (I'm sure you have though haha) and do it all! Did your doctor talk about trying to turn your baby internally? I've watched some videos of it and it seems very VERY painful but, if you really don't want to get cut it'd be worth it. I personally would take that pain over being cut! I was so scared of a c-section! I didn't want any meds!
@1sttimemummy, I've literally been doing that since last night with my hips raised and feet high lol
It sounds silly but, I've read that midwifes and doulas have recommended rubbing your belly clockwise (for you haha so to the right then up and around) for 15-30 mins a day can help turn them. They start to follow your hand after awhile and flip. I'm not sure if it works but, worth a shot! There's a website to help turn baby too I just can't remember the name of it :(
That's the plan of she turns I'll push. but just the fact that I'm 39w and there is barely any room for her in there... more than likely I'll need too be cut. they know i don't want to. she's been head down since August... and last Tuesday she still was....
@goodjourney, is right. They can make you. You can still deliver a breech baby, it has been done. One of my friends on here had her baby butt first. Unless of course there was an emergency for a c section. It could happen even in labor. My son was like that and turned while I was in labor!
Aw. Sorry to hear. Just try your best to stay positive and hope for the best🙏🏻
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
