Sorry that's where I have to disagree. If someone is having unprotected sex that is planning for a baby. Because at any time you could get pregnant. Also you know when you were last on so you can work out when your next due. Surely you know your cycle by now? Whether it's 21, 28 days etc. Most tests you can take from the day your due or day after.

When your periods late take a test. If you just finished a week ago then it's unlikely anything has happened yet. Everyone ovulates at different times in their cycle. Xx

If you had your period a week ago work out your cycle from then.
