Has anyones Pedi prescribed a liquid multivitamin w/iron & fluoride for your infant? My daughter is almost 2 months and he wants me to start giving her vitamins. No explanantiom other than just starting a vitamin....want to hear your opinion. BTW, its $40.

@mommyof1boyy, i asked after he told me. all he said was "u take a multivitamin right?" i thought that was strange. i asked the pharmacist and she asked if ava was anemic or if there was something wrong with her blood work.....she also stated that it would be up to me ultimately to give it to her....so IDK.
if he prescribed them, of course they are safe to give her. but maybe call and ask him questions about them.
No. it's disgusting and I never gave it to my kids
well she is formula fed now since I haven't produced any breast milk. i was wondering why and if it was safe to give her.
Not once has my doctor talked about vitamins
my son was prescribed them when I was breast feeding him. but mine came in a med bottle and I put one syringe a day into his bottle or by mouth.
