I'm 36+4 days and was told last week by the doctor I have a big baby. ( I was admitted to hospital with abdominal pain but subsided after 24hrs). They want me to see the obstetrician this week rather than my usual midwife appointment to discuss my options? Does anyone know what this means? And what they mean by options? I forgot to ask I was just overwhelmed by the fact they said I had a big baby because so far the midwife said she was always measuring spot on every visit.

Try not to worry, lots if people deliver bigger babies naturally. It's good that your going to discuss options, you need to be informed so you can make the right decision for you and your baby. It will be ok. x

Probably means when they are going to deliver baby, possibly dates for a c section. Baby might be too big for you to try a natural birth safely, that's my guess ?
