Is it normal for babies to only poo every few days? The doctor said it can be but I'm just worried for my little one in case he's in pain 😢

Boiled water should help with constipation but if he's suffering with trapped wind the infacol should ease it
@natzie86, was giving him infacol for a while and it helped with the wind but not the constipation. Will try it again though x
I've never heard of boiled water for trapped wind, have you tried infacol?
That's what I thought too. It's neither hard or too soft but it looks normal it's just when he goes there's a lot of it and it hurts him to go because he was screaming yesterday while going. When he was finished there was a tiny bit that was a little watery. The doctor felt his tummy today and said it was fine but like I said, he went yesterday. She said it could be trapped wind so I've been advised to give him a couple ounces of water once a day so I'll see if it makes a difference in the next week. xx
I'd of thought going 4days for a tiny baby wouldn't be normal, maybe monitor for the next week and keep a record and take it to the gp if things don't improve. When he goes is it hard or soft or runny?
My baby when she was born used ti pooh every day or 3 or 4 times a dat now she is 4 weeks+3 days shw now poohs every other day some time it can be every 2 days.. it is worrying my mind isnt in peace until she poohs 😂@canteloupe24
He went loads yesterday then before that it was 2 days and before that it was 4 days. He has never gone everyday since he was born @natzie86
The least my baby has been is every third day and the most is daily. How long since your lo has pooped?
A baby should poo atleast once a day
