Did anyone else have big blood clots after giving birth? I've had two one when in hospital the size of an apple and another just now not as big, just wondering if it's normal? They said the one in hospital was ok but keep an eye on it?
Heading to the hospital in just a few hours! Eeeeek! I'm so excited! I threw in one of my oldest's preemie sleepers just in case this little one comes out a munchkin too! ☺

Anyone has an early private scan before their first hospital one and been told different dates? Just curious got my hospital scan on Tuesday
ugh ,, debating on where to deliver . the one hospital i always had better experiences at than the other . but i always hear horror stories bout the one i want to go to it's still a big hospital but not as nice than the one everyone else seems to prefer but the staff at the one i wanted to go to was always so much better and nicer to me . the two different hospitals are aultman & mercy in canton ohio . i kinda wanted to go to mercy to deliver just scared to cause of things i heard .

Yes I had one the size of an apple too and they said it was fine but any bigger than that to get in touch with them but if you are worried then best to call and put your mind at rest xx

It worried me when I had the clot at home and midwife checked it over and said it was normal but it never happened with my first baby so I panicked. Sure all will be ok. How are you feeling after birth and how's the little one doing? Cx

I'm sure it will! Very very sore want to feel better so I can do everything without difficulty but she's amazing couldn't ask for a better baby girl, sat and cried my eyes out earlier because of how beautiful she is 😂 couldn't stop! @baby316 xx

@abbham95, I had clots too for about two weeks at first they was huge it freaked me out sometimes! but I got told my placenta was all there and whole so I wasn't really worried did they look at your placenta xx

They didn't tell me that but the midwife checked the first clot and she said there wasn't any placenta in it @chesscalouise2 xx

oo well thats good I got told anything bigger than a 50p to get checked out a apple size I'd probably of passed out haha was that in the hospital xx

I passed one at home. Midwife was annoyed I flushed it instead of letting her look! But no one told me to monitor them at all! Grr. So maybe call your midwife tomorrow to keep her informed? Xx

yes hun its normal just after birth, i had one the size of an apple its basically where your sat down your blood is drying and then it all comes out in one lump , thats as best as i can explain xxx

its not normal if still big. i hemorraged after both babies and was admitted bk to hospital each time. i would ring and get checked out x
