This is probably considered some sort of rant/vent. But I figured this is the perfect place to do it and I'm curious if other moms feel the same.
I was at my cousins wedding yesterday and as expected my youngest was on everyone's mind, so my grandmother took him around so everyone could see him before the wedding. I was cool with it, she was gone for awhile so I walked over to were she was to of course hear my cousin just melting over my son. Everything was great then she said something that drives me nuts " you don't make ugly babies, your babies are so so cute!" Now I get what she's saying but then again I don't. I've had that said to me on several different occasions by all different kinds of people, I always smile and say thank you, but in the back of my head I'm thinking how incredibly mean that is, why would you say there is ugly babies! I've NEVER seen an ugly baby! What kind of person looks at a baby and says it's ugly. Like just stop, I get you may think some babies are "cuter" than others, but to use the word ugly is mean as hell. 😳
Rant over. I'm sorry I needed to get that off my chest. Does anyone else have a serious problem with people saying that statement about their child?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Mostly everyone just says I have the cutest baby ever and I just say thanks but I feel weird saying thanks because I don't feel like that's the right to thing to say. I do think some babies are cuter than others like you said, but I have yet to really see an ugly baby.
