thoughts on being a surrogant mother? I think I have a pretty legitimate reason for wanting to be one. my husbands uncle and wife have been trying to have a baby for a couple of years now...unfortunately they have not been successful in getting pregnant... shes had to have 2 d&c's that I know of and have been seeing specialists to try and get pregnant... they recently decided to quit trying. here's the kicker... she talked to me a couple of times while I was pregnant with our little girl, and since ive had her, I haven't heard a word from her...now mind you we live down the road from each other...there's nothing I want more than to have them have a child...it would mean they finally get a little baby of their own, and my little girl would have a cousin on the same road to grow up with! I don't know if this is something they would be interested in or not, but I would love to ask them I just dont know what the best way to go about asking them if this is something they would consider...so what are your thoughts on being one? or did you receive your bundle of joy from one?
