got taken off magnisium and i got some pill that helps stop contractions. the name starts with a P any other mommies take this for contractions this early? does it work?

@juliam27, so I literally took my first dose at 6:30 tonight... my doc said every 6 hours. Make sure they keep checking your BP as procardia is used to help LOWER BP. I mean I am no doctor by any means, but just talked to my friend who is a nurse and she said that's nuts with your BP being as low as it was. My doc gave it to me and even told me to monitor my BP. Keep us posted mama... so sorry your having to go through this!

they took me off the monitors and im still having contractions and pressure. so i dont know what more they want to do. @purpledpink

@juliam27, I'll be praying for y'all! Are they sending you home now? Let me know if you have any questions. I'll let you know how the procardia works for me... so far it hasn't helped, but again I was only 1 pill into it so far... next dose at 12:30am

@juliam27, so it make my face super red and I felt like my face was on fire. Also, contractions are still going strong. I am going to call my doc tomorrow bc I CAN NOT deal with being so hot! Take care, hope you get some rest.
