How long is it recommend to keep the head supporters in the carseat for ? My son will be 7 months on Sunday. It's not bothering him but just a thought I had

I think on mine the infant insert was up to 12lbs, but it might vary by company. Mine is a Chico, if you check your manual you can probably find the weight limit.
