Probably not. A baby will come out with retardation when the mother drinks and drinks while she's pregnant. It's not a good idea.

I'm presenting a speech next week in my communication study class about alcohol during pregnancy. Any amount of alcohol could harm the baby....none of you are in the womb to know what that drink could have possibly delayed in the growing baby. Ugh women that drink alcohol while pregnant are abusing the fetus. That is literally a form of abuse!

I hope this wasn't rude. But what she did to the baby that couldn't refuse the drink was rude!

@cubanese, I agree. My situation is different, but I was drinking quite heavy, I didn't know I was pregnant though until I was 11 weeks. My son is perfect and healthy. Disclaimer - I'm not telling anyone to do what I did, I'm just saying we don't know what can happen, I just got lucky.

I highly, highly doubt it because at that point the baby is pretty much developed but there's still a chance.
