So my 9 almost 10 month old is constipated. On day 4 now. His doctor didn't prescribe anything. We cut back on apples and bananas because they make it worse, apple juice isn't working, prune juice isnt't working and we spent the last of all the money we had on diapers. We have no idea when we'll have more money soooo does anyone know of possible ways to help the constipation?
@adrianliam, they told me to use suppositories but the issue is we have no money at all so it's impossible to purchase right now. I feel horrible because we're on day 4 of this
My doctor told me to use suppositories. They sell ones for babies. I use them on my son if he hasn't pooped in a few days. They work really well and get everything out so he's not uncomfortable.
I use karo syrup sometimes when my son is constipated. Pear juice helps. and the vegetable baby food helps my son also.
Massage his belly in a downward motion. If you have any chamomile tea brew it and cool it off give him 2 ounces. The tea helps with constipation, gas, and tummy aches. I never use gripe water or gas drops I always use chamomile tea.
Aw yea. They are really cheap. I think I paid like 3$ for a bottle of thrown at Walgreens. So if you can scrounge up a couple bucks it's def worth it!
