okay ladies. Friday I was at the doctor's. 1cm dilated and very soft. today being Wednesday I am still 1 cm dilated but 50℅ effaced what does this mean.!?

Yes! Walk walk walk! Seriously. I wasn't even dilated then I got real contractions so I walked for two days and dilated to a 5.

50% Effaced means your cervix is Half way as thinned as it needs to be. It means things are moving along! Your cervix will eventually be 100% effaced, and you will keep dilating! 😊😊
