basically for the past 3 months the hv has been saying scarletts putting weight on too fast and she's getting too big. I asked them to do her height as well today. and she's perfectly in proportion. so I got a nice apology from the hv today. she's above average height that's why she's on the bigger end of the weight scale.

@kellyboo, you know your own baby honey, I just think they stick to the guidelines to cover their backs a lot of the time xxx

@chesscalouise2 I don't either. she's 14 weeks and we've started weaning her a little because she drinks 7 Oz every 4 hours and won't settle because she's still hungry so once a day we give her a little baby food. and the hv keeps telling me to not do it. at the end of the day I was weaned at 3 months. my OH was weaned at 9 weeks old and we're both fine.
@kellyboo, health visitors dont have a clue most of them dont even have kids I dont do well with people telling me what I can and cant do haha x

Just read my baby's papers from her 12 month checkup and wondering why she's so tiny she's only in the 12 percentile for height and 27 percentile for weight I mean she's tripled her weight since birth but I don't know atleast she's healthy
just thinking about weight loss. once I have my baby I would like to lose 100 lbs. I was already over weight before I got pregnant so I'm not blaming it on my baby. pre pregnancy i was 235lbs and my height is 5'4...now at 35 weeks pregnant I'm 243lbs...my goal weight is between 130 and 150 😮😮
My daughter is very tall for her age. She's big enough for a booster seat, but she's only 2. Does age matter or height and weight?
Really bummed. Had Mila’s 2 week appointment today and she’s not back to her birth weight. It’s like a flashback to our journey with Jais. I really thought breastfeeding was going well this time, too. I’m not giving up but I just feel so discouraged and disappointed in myself.

@hawkie75, that's exactly what they do. if they don't advise us and something happens they are liable for medical negligence.
