not true. I got my epidural at 3cm because the contractions with an induction are ten times worse. you can get the epidural WHENEVER you want, all you have to do is ask. if you don't want it right away they give you IV meds before hand.

R u dilated? well 1st they gave me half the pill to dilate I dilated quick then they asked if I wanted pitiocion or walk around I was 5cm then I walked around for 45mins I was 8cm then I got the epidural . u have to be progressing to get it so pass 5cm or so is the earliest
